Karen: Hello and welcome to my blog. I'm a jewellery designer/maker and have a studio at Coburg House in Leith. I use mainly resin and acrylic, but also incorporate silver and sometimes freshwater pearls into my work. I visited Japan a few years ago and was really fascinated by the amazing abundance and tradition of pattern. Inspired by this and nature, I enjoy creating my own patterns, the pattern often determining the shape of the piece.
